A: Yes. As long as the drainage (leach lines, sand filter, etc.) is still working, the county will allow us to apply for a permit to replace the old tank with a new tank and hook it up to the existing drainage.

A: Replacing the septic tank only can range in price from around $3,500 - $5,000 or more, depending on many different factors such as site location, access, size of the tank, etc. This price includes the cost of the permit, pumping the old tank, removing the old tank, and hooking up and backfilling the new tank. ATT septic systems are not yet required in Klamath County or Lake County but are required almost everywhere in Deschutes County, with minimal exceptions.
